Trên báo mạng Nam Phương của Trung Quốc gần đây có đăng một bài nhận định về thực lực quân sự của Việt Nam. Các nhà bình luận và quan sát của TQ cho rằng việc Việt Nam gần đây mua sắm nhiều vũ khí để hiện đại hóa quân sự là đáng chú ý nhưng Trung Quốc cũng không cần thổi phồng mối đe dọa quân sự từ phía Việt Nam.
