The department will take drastic measure to stop the spreading of dengue fever cases, as September and November are high season for the disease.

Mặc dù sốt da vàng chưa hề có ở châu Á, và chủng loài muỗi gây sốt da vàng và sốt xuyết huyết là khác nhau nhưng với tình hình trái đất nóng lên hiên nay, bùng phát trở lại sốt xuất huyết và mật độ đi lại toàn cầu ngày càng tăng thì châu Á có nguy cơ lớn đối với sốt da vàng. Và khó kiếm soát khi các chủng muỗi thay đổi hình thái để thích nghi với khí hậu thay đối. Cho nên các chủng vaccin cũ không có tác dụng
