Huy won the third prize of Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) 2017 in California for his invention of a robotic prosthetic arm designed for the disabled. HÀ NỘI — Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc has requested country leaders to heighten their focus on preventing Vietnamese fishermen from illegally harvesting seafood in foreign waters.

In official order No 732 issued on Sunday, the Prime Minister acknowledged that the situation is ongoing and has been getting more serious since the end of 2015 in the central provinces of Quảng Ngãi, Bình Định, and Bình Thuận, as well as southern provinces of Kiên Giang, Cà Mau, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu, Bến Tre and Tiền Giang.

HÒA BÌNH — Six out of 18 kidney patients who were receiving dialysis at Hòa Bình Province General Hospital died on Monday morning with suspected anaphylactic shock.

With only a day to go before the end of the second round of peace talks under her watch, officials said little headway had been made on the federalism or increased autonomy that are key demands for ethnic minority groups.

“There will be a less good result than people are hoping for,” Zaw Htay, spokesman for the president’s office, told reporters on Sunday, adding “we did not get agreement on the matter of seceding”.

North Korea fires unidentified projectile from eastern region

The launch was immediately reported to President Moon Jae-in, who called a meeting of the National Security Council at 7.30am (6.30am Singapore time), the South Korean office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement.

The projectile was likely a ballistic missile, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency said, citing an unidentified source.

The projectile is likely to fall within Japan’s exclusive economic zone, Yonhap news reported citing an unidentified source in Japan as saying.
