Young artists promote traffic safety in Vietnam with lovable project

A group of young artists in Ho Chi Minh City have found a new way to spread traffic safety messages with their lovable artwork.

The project was finished in response to an initiative by the Ho Chi Minh City chapter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union that called for youths’ contribution to the improvement of the local traffic culture.

Sand shortage delays transport projects

Viet Nam News HÀ NỘI — Many transport projects in southern localities have been delayed due to the scarcity and surging price of construction sand, Giao Thông (Transport) newspaper reported.

For instance, a contractor of the Bến Lức-Long Thành Highway said that only half of the road foundation had been built; some 80,000 cubic metres of sand are missing to complete the project’s foundation.

E5 bio-fuel to replace RON 92

JAKARTA: Indonesian authorities foiled an attempt to illegally export more than 200,000 lobster eggs into Singapore through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, reported the Jakarta Post on Sunday (Jun 11).

The suspects had attempted to deliver a big part of the goods via a Garuda Indonesia flight to Singapore.

China vigilant as US bombers fly over South China Sea

China said on Friday it was monitoring US military activities in the South China Sea after two US bombers conducted training flights over the disputed waters.
