HẢI PHÒNG – Tân Vũ – Lạch Huyện Bridge, set to be Southeast Asia’s longest cross-sea bridge when opened, will undergo a test run to check loading capacity on Sunday.

Malaysia’s education minister Mahdzir Khalid said the new gadget had just entered the market and the effect of its usage had yet to be known, The Star reported on Friday (May 12).

“It is a new gadget and there are numerous views on its use, we need to wait for a full report from the authorities and stakeholders before discussing it in a committee at the ministerial level,” he said in the report.

Mahdzir said this in response to media reports on allegations that the fidget spinner was dangerous and could cause harm or be used as a weapon, as well as in response to calls for the ministry to monitor the phenomenon as it could distract the learning process among students. International investigation needed to identify culprits of biggest-of-its-kind cyber-extortion attack, Europol says.

The wave of cyberattacks wreaking havoc across the globe is “at an unprecedented level”, European Union’s law enforcement agency Europol said.

The attacks will “require a complex international investigation to identify the culprits”, the agency, which is working with countries and companies hit by the attacks, said in a statement on Saturday.

Dozens of countries were hit by the ransomware attack on Friday that locked up computers and held users’ files for ransom at a multitude of hospitals, companies and government agencies.

TTO – VN đã đối mặt với 14 vụ kiện phòng vệ thương mại (PVTM) đối với hàng hóa xuất khẩu sang nước ngoài, trong đó số vụ kiện chống bán phá giá chiếm nhiều nhất, lên đến 12 vụ, tăng 140%.

Hiểu biết trong lĩnh vực PVTM của cơ quan quản lý nhà nước còn nhiều hạn chế dẫn đến việc đưa ra những chính sách vi phạm các hiệp định thương mại WTO, gây ra các vụ kiện liên quan đến trợ cấp đối với hàng xuất khẩu của VN.

VNExpress_Ngày trước, tôi thường phụ đạo miễn phí cho các lưu học sinh Campuchia theo học tại Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội.

Mặc định kiến thức nền tảng của các bạn ấy chưa tốt nên tôi chữa bài rất chậm và tỉ mỉ. Đến bài khó tôi dừng lại hỏi, có ai thắc mắc gì không? Một lần có sinh viên hỏi: “Vận tốc là gì hả thầy?”. Tôi thấy rất bối rối. Vì đang nói câu chuyện về con tàu siêu thanh, thì có bạn lại hỏi đi bộ là gì. Tôi hỏi cả lớp, có ai có câu hỏi tương tự không? Nhiều cánh tay giơ lên. Chúng tôi phải bắt đầu lại từ đầu, giống như khi học bảng cửu chương vậy.

Vài năm gần đây, các lưu học sinh không cần nhờ tôi phụ đạo nữa, và số lưu học sinh Campuchia cũng ít đi. Tôi trò chuyện với họ thì biết giáo dục Campuchia đã có rất nhiều thay đổi.

Vào năm 2013, Thứ trưởng Bộ Tài chính Campuchia, Hang Chuon Naron, được bổ nhiệm làm Bộ trưởng Giáo dục. Không giống như dự đoán, việc đầu tiên ông làm là thực thi chính sách “không gian lận” trong giáo dục và thi cử, chứ không phải bắt đầu bằng các kế hoạch cải cách nhiều triệu USD.

ĐỒNG THÁP — The southern province of Đồng Tháp on Wednesday extended its state of emergency as the erosion worsened, with a section of the riverbank covering some 600m affected so far.

A section of the Tiền riverbank, running from Mương Cả Lách to Bình Thành Market in Bình Hòa Hamlet, Thanh Bình District, was reported to have been eroded by 150m over the last few days, since the last state-of-emergency declaration last month.
