VietNamNet Bridge – The Cai Mep–Thi Vai container port in Ba Ri –Vung Tau province, built with investment capital of $2 billion, is now running at 15-20 percent of capacity.

Ba Ria – Vung Tau spent VND45 trillion to build Cai Mep – Thi Vai which had designed capacity of 7 million TEU, increasing to 11 million TEU after the expansion.

HSBC raises growth forecast to 6.6%

HSBC has revised its growth forecast for Vietnam this year up to 6.6 per cent, days after data from the General Statistics Office showed the economy grew 7.46 per cent in the third quarter year-on-year; its strongest third-quarter growth since 2010.

In a recent statement, the bank said that July-September growth was “surprising”. It had lowered its growth forecast from 6.4 to 6 per cent in July after the economy hit a three-year low of 5.2 per cent growth in the first quarter.

(TBKTSG) – Ngân hàng thương mại (NHTM) là tổ chức làm dịch vụ trung gian tài chính, nhận tiền của người ký gửi và cho người cần vốn vay. Bản thân vốn tự có trên tổng tài sản, tức là tỷ lệ vốn của chủ sở hữu cổ phần ngân hàng, thường rất thấp so với doanh nghiệp phi tài chính. Tỷ lệ vốn tự có của ngân hàng theo khuyến nghị của Ngân hàng Thanh toán Quốc tế (BIS) không nên dưới 8% tổng tài sản. Tuy nhiên có lúc một số ngân hàng Việt Nam chỉ có tỷ lệ 4%.

Vietnam has seen a significant increase in the number of foreign tourists travelling to the country by sea but poor infrastructure and a lack of high-quality services for cruise tourism may hinder growth.

VietNamNet Bridge – VAMC (Vietnam Asset Management Company) is now holding VND230 trillion worth of bad debt, including real estate which is used as collateral for bad debts it has purchased from commercial banks.

It is expected that from now to the end of 2017, VAMC will settle VND23-25 trillion worth of bad debt, or 10 percent of the amounts of bad debt it is holding.

The government has announced plans to build an expressway connecting Vietnam’s two northern provinces of Hoa Binh and Son La, at an estimated cost of VND50.27 trillion (US$2.2 billion).

The new road, which will extend the Hanoi-Hoa Binh Expressway, is expected to boost the socio-economic development in Son La province and other provinces in the north western region.

Tổng kết công tác khám chữa bệnh của Bộ Y tế trong năm 2015 cho thấy, các chỉ tiêu tổng hợp như số lần khám bệnh, số bệnh nhân nội trú, ngoại trú, số ngày điều trị nội, ngoại trú, số phẫu thuật, thủ thuật, chẩn đoán, xét nghiệm… đều tăng so với năm 2014, đạt bình quân 2,34 lượt khám/người/năm.
