Ngày 23 tháng 1 năm 2020, Tổ chức Minh bạch Quốc tế (TI) công bố Chỉ số Cảm nhận Tham nhũng (CPI) 2019, trong đó xếp hạng 180 quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ dựa trên cảm nhận của các doanh nhân và chuyên gia về tham nhũng trong khu vực công tại các quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ đó.

Năm 2019, Việt Nam đạt 37/100 điểm, tăng 4 điểm so với năm 2018, đứng thứ 96/180 trên bảng xếp hạng toàn cầu. HCMC – If the Vietnamese Government continues its fiscal consolidation, the public debt-to-gross domestic product (GDP) ratio could be further reduced, possibly reaching below 57% by 2021, said an HSBC report.

“Elevated public debt has fallen consistently over the years,” said the “Vietnam at a glance: The Good, the Bad and the Needed” report which the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank Corporation (HSBC) released last week.
