Người dân xã Đồng Tâm lại một lần nữa gửi thư ngỏ cầu cứu đến Trung ương Đảng, Chính phủ và Quốc hội. Trong thư ngỏ mới nhất đề ngày 20/01/2018 vừa qua, họ khẩn cầu: “Mười nghìn người dân xã Đồng Tâm tha thiết thỉnh cầu đến các Ông bà Đảng và Nhà nước cử những người có tâm huyết, có chuẩn mực đạo đức, biết thương dân về xã chúng tôi để nghe tâm tư nguyện vọng, nghe tiếng kêu cứu, nức nở, ai oán, u sầu… của người dân! Đừng để người dân thấp cổ bé họng chúng tôi kêu không thấu tới trời thì oan ức quá!”. Trong thư ngỏ này, người dân xã Đồng Tâm thể hiện mong muốn là vụ việc và nỗi oan ức, bất công của họ được giải quyết sao cho thấu tình, trọn nghĩa! Một động thái chính trị rất khôn ngoan, mở đầu bức Thư ngỏ này, thêm một lần họ tái khẳng định: “Nhân dân xã Đồng Tâm chúng tôi xin khẳng định rằng chúng tôi không chống lại Đảng, không lật đổ chính quyền! Chúng tôi chỉ căm thù và chống lại bọn tham nhũng vì chúng là giặc nội xâm; bọn chúng đã lợi dụng quyền lực để cướp đất của người dân hun đúc lợi ích khủng để hình thành những nhóm lợi ích!”.

VTV.vn – Theo các xét nghiệm của đơn vị chuyên môn, hàm lượng asen trong nước sinh hoạt tại khu đô thị Tân Tây Đô có thời điểm cao gấp 3 lần tiêu chuẩn cho phép của Bộ Y tế.
Hàng nghìn hộ dân tại khu đô thị Tân Tây Đô, huyện Đan Phượng, TP Hà Nội đã phải sử dụng nguồn nước bị nhiễm asen hay còn gọi là thạch tín. Điều đáng nói là tình trạng này đã diễn ra suốt từ năm 2014 đến nay mà vẫn chưa có giải pháp khắc phục.
Nhà máy nước sạch cung cấp cho khoảng 2.000 hộ dân KĐT Tân Tây Đô được đặt ngay cạnh một con kênh đen ngòm, bẩn thỉu và ô nhiễm. Theo kết quả xét nghiệm mẫu nước tại nhà máy nước sạch Tân Tây Đô do Trung tâm y tế dự phòng Hà Nội thực hiện, trong suốt các năm từ 2014 đến nay, hàm lượng asen trong nước đa phần đều vượt mức tiêu chuẩn an toàn cho phép. Cá biệt trong lần xét nghiệm gần đây nhất, hàm lượng asen vẫn cao gấp 3 lần quy chuẩn an toàn của Bộ Y tế.
Theo Viện Sức khỏe nghề nghiệp và môi trường, Bộ Y tế, nếu mỗi ngày cơ thể hấp thụ một lượng nhỏ asen hay thạch tín, lâu dần có thể xuất hiện nhiều bệnh lý như biến đổi sắc tố da, sừng hóa, ung thư da và ung thư một số cơ quan nội tạng, các bệnh về hô hấp, phổi…Tác hại của asen đối với phụ nữ và trẻ em là lớn nhất.

The underground military operation bunker where the Vietnamese government worked during the American War in Thang Long Imperial Citadel has been opened to visitors for the first time.
The Thang Long Heritage Conservation Centre opened the bunker and exhibition about the general command headquarters on the occasion of 45th anniversary of victorious air defence of Hanoi during the American bombing raids of Christmas 1972.
The bunker was built in early 1965 by military engineers. They demolished the two-storey command building to disguise and cover the bunker. The bunker has three rooms, covering 64 square metres. The roof is 1.5 metres higher than the ground and has three layers to protect officers against falling bombs and rockets. It was supposed to be a shelter even against nuclear or chemical weapons.
Decisions issued during the 1972 air battle and supply routes for the south were from the site. The first sirens warning of US air force attacks were approved in the bunker.
After 1975, the bunker was largely abandoned until it was renovated in 2012.

Farmers in Nhat Tan Ward, Hanoi, are busy with harvesting their daisies, with the promise of lucrative returns.

The 27,000-square-meter market is open daily from 11 p.m. until the small hours of next morning as people rush there to buy and sell fruits and vegetables. The market is where vegetables and fruits are distributed to retailers and street vendors.
The colorful and bustling sight of the night market captures the attention of foreign visitors to the capital.
Many local residents in neighboring provinces also flock to the market to earn a living by providing transport services for traders at the market.
