Nông dân đổi nghề vì năng lượng trên sông Srepok

Ngày 23/6/2017, trong hội thảo “Nơi dòng sông chảy ngược: Nước, giới và phát triển” tổng kết dự án “Đánh giá tác động giới từ các công trình thủy điện trên sông Srepok” do Oxfam tài trợ, tổ chức tại TP Buôn Ma Thuột, Trung tâm Nghiên cứu và Phát triển xã hội (CSRD) trao giải Ảnh đẹp cho nhiều tác giả nông dân đã được dự án tặng máy ảnh, hướng dẫn cách chụp để tự kể về câu chuyện của cộng đồng qua ảnh, góp hơn 100 ảnh để triển lãm, in sách.

Sau sáu năm thực hiện, từ tháng 9 năm 2017 bộ phim tài liệu The Vietnam War (Chiến tranh Việt Nam) gồm mười phần với tổng thời lượng 18 tiếng sẽ lên sóng truyền hình toàn nước Mỹ qua hệ thống PBS (Public Broadcasting Service, mạng truyền thông công cộng bất vụ lợi với 349 đài truyền hình thành viên tại Hoa Kỳ).

Co Loa – the oldest citadel in Vietnam

VietNamNet Bridge – Co Loa Citadel was built near Phong Khe, about 20 km to the north of today’s Hanoi, during the end of the Hong Bang Dynasty (about 257 BCE). The fortress is a spiral-shaped complex of the then new capital. The site was the source of various relics of the Dong Son culture of the Bronze Age.

According to folklore, An Duong Vuong defeated the last of the Hung Kings in 257 BCE and founded the kingdom of Au Lac, choosing the site of Co Loa as his capital.

Young artists promote traffic safety in Vietnam with lovable project

A group of young artists in Ho Chi Minh City have found a new way to spread traffic safety messages with their lovable artwork.

The project was finished in response to an initiative by the Ho Chi Minh City chapter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union that called for youths’ contribution to the improvement of the local traffic culture.
