Workers at a daycare center in Ho Chi Minh City have been caught physically abusing dozens of children.

Một sáng cuối tuần, gặp lại Miên Đức Thắng ở phòng trà Sienna (Sài Gòn), tôi mới biết cũng tại đây, anh vừa dự chương trình thơ nhạc “Nụ hoa vàng ngày xuân” tưởng niệm 10 năm ngày mất của nhà thơ Kim Tuấn (1938 – 2003) do Hội nhà văn TP tổ chức. Trong buổi sinh hoạt này, Miên Đức Thắng hát bản “Cứ chảy theo thời gian” mà thú vị là bản nhạc lại do anh phổ từ một bài thơ của chính mình viết để nhớ lần tiễn nhà thơ Kim Tuấn đến lò thiêu Bình Hưng Hòa. Sài Gòn – một đêm đầu tháng 11-2017, Minh Anh đã dán xong chiếc gót giày cuối cùng trong ngày. Mẹ và những đứa em của cô đã ngủ say trong căn nhà trọ cả năm không một tia nắng lọt vào ở quận 8. Cô thả tấm lưng mỏi nhừ vì phải ngồi liên tục nhiều giờ liền xuống đệm rồi với tay cầm chiếc máy tính bảng lướt Facebook, trước khi khép lại một ngày như bao ngày. Mắt cô dừng lại ở một trang Facebook. “Bỏ hộ khẩu, chứng minh nhân dân”, cô đọc đi đọc lại. “Em mừng quá trời quá đất luôn, không làm sao tả hết”, Minh Anh kể lại. Niềm vui đẩy cơn buồn ngủ đi, kéo những giấc mơ về. Một ngày, khi chứng minh nhân dân (CMND), hộ khẩu không còn tồn tại, cô sẽ đi làm ở công ty may, đi thi bằng lái xe, mua trả góp điện thoại, đi chơi xa với bạn và sẽ cưới chồng… Năm nay Minh Anh 20 tuổi, học hết lớp 2, không hộ khẩu, không CMND, chỉ có tờ giấy khai sinh để định danh mình.
