Dù hoang tàn, nhà thờ đổ thuộc xã Văn Lý, huyện Hải Hậu vẫn thu hút nhiều du khách và tay máy nhờ sự hội tụ của trời biển, nắng gió và cát trắng.

Nằm ở xã Hải Lý, huyện Hải Hậu, nhà thờ bị bỏ hoang từ năm 1996 và trở thành một điểm tham quan hút khách ở Nam Định. Trước đây, nơi này là một quần thể nhiều nhà thờ lớn nhỏ, nhưng bị nước biển xâm lấn. Tới giờ, chỉ còn một nhà thờ đổ nát giữa khung cảnh hoang vu.

Mỗi mảnh đất lại có những đặc trưng văn hóa hóa nhau để giữ cái hương cái hồn của của mình không bị hòa lẫn với cái hương cái hồn của mảnh đất khác. Văn hóa làng xã, văn hóa rất mực thuần Việt nơi đồng bằng Bắc Bộ nước ta. Những truyền thống dung dị, những bình yên dịu dàng của đời người gói ghém vào từng mảnh ngói, viên gạch, cái nghề truyền thống gắn với người dân bao đời. Một ngày nhẹ tênh, rời bỏ tấp nập thành phố, tới Thổ Hà, để thấy, để yêu, để cảm cái mảnh tình làng quê Bắc Bộ này.

Putaleng in the ethnic Mông language was originally pronounced as Pu Ta Leng, with “Pu” meaning “mountain”. Located 3,049 metres above sea level on the Hoang Lien Son mountain range at Te Leng Village, Tam Duong Commune, Lai Chau Province, Pu Ta Leng is the second highest mountain in Indochina.

May arrives with early summer rains starting to pour down, drawing water from the upper streams into the North-western region. Terraced rice fields take off their boring brown coat of winter to enter a new crop season.

The most beautiful terraced fields in pouring water season in the North-west:

Bat Xat: In the new crop season, Bat Xat is like a natural picture with countless bright colours that stand out among the skies of Ngai Thau, Gia Sang, Y Ty, A Lu and Khu Chu Lin Communes.

Sapa: Always the preferred choice of foreign visitors when visiting the North-west. Visitors can admire the beautiful terraced fields in the countryside of Ta Van, Ta Phin, Hau Thao, Trung Chai, and Lao Chai.

Hoang Su Phi is a mountainous border district in Ha Giang Province. The beauty of the terraced fields in Hoang Su Phi has been recognised by the State as one of the national relic sites in the North-west.

Dong Dinh Museum – Memory garden in Da Nang

Nestled on Son Tra Peninsula, Dong Dinh Museum is an ideal place for nature lovers. It is a peaceful place to see wonderful art and valuable antiques.

The museum is also a venue where nostalgic visitors can indulge in a garden of memory, which features recreations of garden houses and villages typical of the central region.

The museum opened to the public in 2011 and has become one of Da Nang’s tourist attractions.

Its owner, artist Doan Huy Giao, has spent more than 30 years collecting artefacts from across the country and another 10 years building his privately-owned museum, which is the first of its kind in the central region.

The Dong Dinh Museum – a Memory Garden is also a place where ecologic forests are conserved, the space of art-culture is promoted and traditional values are maintained.

British man found hanged on tourist boat in northern Vietnam

A 19-year old British man was found hanged on a tourist boat in the northern Vietnamese city of Hai Phong on Sunday night.

Leaders of the local People’s Committee confirmed the tourist’s death on Monday night, saying the 19-year-old had hung himself on a Cong Nghia tourist boat during a trip around the Cat Ba archipelago, located in Cat Hai District, Hai Phong.
