TT – Thị trường thuốc thú y đang bị các công ty nước ngoài “làm mưa làm gió”. Nhiều công ty sản xuất trong nước đang vực dậy nhưng vấp phải khó khăn khác: phụ thuộc nguyên liệu nhập khẩu.

TT – 23 hoạt chất với gần 40 loại tân dược có hàm lượng, dạng phối hợp hay công thức “không bình thường” vừa bị Bảo hiểm xã hội VN đề nghị kiểm soát chặt chẽ việc thanh toán (trước đó cơ quan này có văn bản đơn phương tạm dừng thanh toán từ tháng 3-2015).

Down by the sandy banks of the Yamuna River, the men must work quickly. At a little past 12 a.m. one humid night in May, they pull back the black plastic tarp covering three boreholes sunk deep in the ground along the waterway that traces Delhi’s eastern edge. From a shack a few feet away, they then drag thick hoses toward a queue of 20-odd tanker trucks idling quietly with their headlights turned off. The men work in a team: While one man fits a hose’s mouth over a borehole, another clambers atop a truck at the front of the line and shoves the tube’s opposite end into the empty steel cistern attached to the vehicle’s creaky frame.

MEXICO CITY—On March 22, while the United Nations celebrated World Water Day, hundreds of protestors marched down Mexico City’s Avenida de los Insurgentes toward the office of the National Water Commission. Under a smoggy sky, they chanted through loudspeakers, painted posters, and, arriving at the office, scaled the front gates and erected signs. “El agua es nuestra, carajo!” screamed one poster. The water is ours, goddamnit! A more diplomatic sign read: “El H20 no es un negocio.” Water is not a business.

Thediplomat – “Water is life. Water is health. Water is dignity. Water is a human right,” UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said last week at a conference in Tajikistan aimed at assessing the results of the UN’s decade-long “Water for Life” initiative, launched in 2005.

Reportedly 2,000 participants attended the event, hearing more than 70 reports in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe. But, Eurasianet notes, “despite numerous statements of concern, the meeting produced no substantive measures.” Meaningless conferences apparently don’t just happen in Washington, DC. After an entire decade of concerted focus on the issue, Central Asia remains one of the most irresponsible regions when it comes to water.

TTO – Một tỉ lệ rất đáng lo: đến 20-25% người lớn được khảo sát ở Đà Nẵng, Khánh Hòa dương tính với các vấn đề sức khỏe tâm thần, 16-18% trong số đó liên quan đến rối loạn trầm cảm, lo âu.

Theo giới chuyên môn, nếu không điều trị sẽ nặng dần và biểu hiện tồi tệ nhất là lập kế hoạch tự tử hoặc tự tử thật. Tuy nhiên do quá thiếu bác sĩ chuyên khoa sức khỏe tâm thần, người dân ngại đi “bệnh viện tâm thần” nên đang tồn tại một khoảng trống lớn trong chăm sóc chữa trị căn bệnh này ở VN. Khi trời về khuya, khu vực cây lộc vừng 9 gốc này là tụ điểm mua – bán dâm của những người đồng tính nam, nhiều trẻ em đã trở thành nạn nhân.

Trẻ bụi đời, trẻ lang thang vô gia cư, trẻ đánh giày bán báo, các “Tam Mao phiêu bạt”, “tổ bán báo xa mẹ”… là những cụm từ mà chúng ta hay dùng để chỉ các cháu không có một mái ấm gia đình bảo bọc từ thuở đầu xanh, sớm phải lần lữa kiếm miếng ăn nơi vỉa hè góc phố. Thế nhưng, giữa thập niên thứ hai của thế kỷ 21 này, ít ai ngờ hết được những tai ương, trớ trêu, cạm bẫy mà các cháu đang mắc phải.

Ví như, nạn lạm dụng tình dục trẻ em nam đang hành hoành một cách đáng sợ với yêu râu xanh Việt Nam lẫn ngoại quốc, trong khi các quy định luật pháp của chúng ta còn đầy bất cập trong sứ mệnh bảo vệ các cháu.
