TTCT – Cáo giác về xuất xứ những UAV “tự sát” mà Nga đang sử dụng ở Ukraine không mới khi đối chiếu lại quá trình trừng phạt Iran của Hội đồng Bảo an Liên Hiệp Quốc.

Nhưng việc Iran nay cung cấp UAV cho Nga cho thấy thế giới đang tiến đến một cục diện hoàn toàn khác.

“Trong đêm 22 và 23-10, kẻ thù “truyền kiếp” đã tấn công miền nam đất nước bằng UAV tự sát. 11 UAV của đối phương đã bị tiêu diệt bởi lực lượng phòng không của Bộ Tư lệnh không quân phía nam ở khu vực Mykolaiv”, Bộ Tư lệnh các lực lượng vũ trang Ukraine đăng trên Facebook sáng thứ hai 23-10. 

Bản tin này còn cho biết “thêm 3 UAV Shahed-136 khác đã bị bắn hạ bởi các đơn vị khác ở phía nam”. Chưa hết, “thêm 2 UAV lảng vảng, tìm cách đột phá từ hướng nam, đã bị phá hủy bởi các khẩu đội phòng không của Bộ Tư lệnh không quân đông và trung tâm ở phía đông và bắc Ukraine”.

Iran’s President cancels interview after Amanpour refuses head scarf demand 03:23

(CNN) Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi withdrew from a long-planned interview with CNN’s chief international anchor Christiane Amanpour at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday, after she declined a last-minute demand to wear a head scarf.

Some 40 minutes after the interview was scheduled due to start and with Raisi running late, an aide told Amanpour the president had suggested that she wear a head scarf. Amanpour said that she “politely declined.”

Amanpour, who grew up in the Iranian capital Tehran and is a fluent Farsi speaker, said that she wears a head scarf while reporting in Iran to comply with the local laws and customs, “otherwise you couldn’t operate as a journalist.” But she said that she would not cover her head to conduct an interview with an Iranian official outside a country where it is not required.

“Here in New York, or anywhere else outside of Iran, I have never been asked by any Iranian president — and I have interviewed every single one of them since 1995 — either inside or outside of Iran, never been asked to wear a head scarf,” she said on CNN’s “New Day” program Thursday.

TTCT – Khoa học gia hạt nhân người Iran vừa bị ám sát không phải là vụ đầu tiên Israel bị nghi ngờ đứng đằng sau âm mưu trừ khử một nhân vật then chốt của các quốc gia đối địch, và có lẽ cũng chẳng phải vụ cuối cùng.

(CNN)The Iranian nuclear scientist assassinated east of Tehran was shot by a remote-controlled machine gun operating out of another car, the semi-official Fars News Agency said Sunday.With top Iranian officials blaming Israel, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and others have promised revenge for the Friday killing of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who was the country’s chief nuclear scientist.There were conflicting accounts from Iranian news agencies about how the attack unfolded.The Fars News report said Fakhrizadeh was traveling with his wife in a bulletproof car, alongside three security personnel vehicles, when he heard what sounded like bullets hitting a vehicle, and he exited the car to determine what had happened.When he got out, a remote-controlled machine gun opened fire from a Nissan stopped about 150 meters (164 yards) from Fakhrizadeh’s car, the agency said.

EU prolongs sanctions on Iran over human rights violations

BRUSSELS: The European Union on Tuesday extended until April 2018 sanctions against Iran for “serious human rights violations”, a narrower measure than restrictions the bloc had already lifted after an international accord on Tehran’s nuclear programme.

The EU has pursued rapprochement with Iran since the 2015 nuclear deal, which reversed a decade of hard-hitting Western financial and trade sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
