Yes, I have traveled to Vietnam, and what an experience it was! I’ll admit, I had always overlooked it because of my fascination with the Western world. But Vietnam shattered my stereotype. Sure, you can Google lists of things to do and places to visit, but personally, this is why I loved Vietnam:

  1. I Fired an AK 47 : Yes, that was one of my favourite parts of Vietnam. When you visit Cu Chi Tunnel (they have historical significance connected to the Vietnam War), you will get to fire a real gun. It was a bit scary but exciting too!
  2. Vietnamese Coffee: I am a coffee crazy person, so I give Vietnam 10/10 for that. Its famous Egg coffee was too good.
  3. The Country is very affordable: It cost me just around 50–60k for my 8 days trip there.
  4. The country is very aesthetic: Vietnam is incredibly aesthetic. There’s this street famously known as Lantern Street, where you can light and release lanterns. In the evening, the entire street glows with soft, colorful lights. It was so beautiful!
  5. Unbelievable Safety: I had heard that scams are rare in Vietnam, and honestly, I was skeptical at first, especially coming from India, where tourists often need to be cautious. But I was pleasantly surprised. The people were honest, kind, and respectful.

If you are planning to visit Vietnam, my suggestion is that you must go there!
