Tăng cường tiếp cận bảo hiểm thai sản cho phụ nữ Việt Nam

Mặc dù chế độ thai sản ở Việt Nam được coi là một trong những chế độ tốt nhất trong khu vực, các khoản trợ cấp này vẫn nằm ngoài tầm với đối với nhiều phụ nữ Việt Nam. Việc tăng cường tiếp cận bảo hiểm thai sản sẽ không những đảm bảo lợi ích cho phụ nữ và gia đình của họ mà còn thúc đẩy sự phát triển của doanh nghiệp và xã hội.

Tổ chức Lao động Quốc tế (ILO) – Mới 6:30 sáng, Hương, 36 tuổi bắt đầu công việc hàng ngày của mình bằng việc vào kho lạnh -20 độ để lấy kem ra sắp xếp vào các thùng xốp rồi chồng cô dùng xe tải chở đi giao cho các đại lý. Hai vợ chồng Hương có một cửa hàng tạp hoá nhỏ bán các đồ tiện lợi, cùng với nghề chuyên giao kem sỉ cho các cửa hàng bán lẻ khác trên địa bàn tỉnh Thanh Hoá.

Hà Nội, sáng 1/4/2018, tại một bệnh viện cấp Trung ương, ca phẫu thuật ghép tạng được thực hiện. Tám giờ, người hiến được đưa vào phòng mổ, không một người thân. Chín giờ bốn mươi, tới lượt người nhận làm thủ thuật gây mê. Bên ngoài, một đại gia đình nín thở chờ đợi.

The global community is coming together to tackle an ancient disease that still inflicts interminable human suffering.  Globally, one person dies of TB every 20 seconds.  While progress has been made over the past decade much remains to be done.  Annually, there are still 10.4 million new cases and 1.7 million deaths. One of the key challenges is to find the 4 million missing cases, individuals who develop TB but are missed by health systems and continue to transmit the disease. With the global commitment to end TB, there is a renewed sense of hope in the battle against TB.

Lives and faces behind the numbers

On a hot afternoon in New Delhi, a 45-year old woman explained to visiting guests the devastation unleashed on her family when several members were diagnosed with multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB), a lethal form of the disease.  Due to delayed diagnosis and overcrowding, the disease spread to other family members and several succumbed, including the main breadwinner. Five billion people—two thirds of world population—lack access to safe and affordable surgical, anesthesia and obstetric (SAO) care while a third of the global burden of disease requires surgical and/or anesthesia decision-making or treatment. Treating the sick very often requires surgery and anesthesia. Despite such huge burden of disease, safe and affordable SAO care is often overlooked.

Why? It may be because surgery and anesthesia are not disease entities. They are treatment modalities that address the breadth of human disease — infections, non-communicable, maternal, child, geriatric and trauma-related disease and injuries, and international development agencies have been focusing on vertical disease-based programs. HÀ NỘI – Health insurance profiteering is still common in private hospitals and health clinics, with medicine improperly prescribed and purchased, leading to an imbalance of. the healthcare fund, health experts have said.

The statement was made at the dialogue on legal policies on health insurance between Việt Nam Social Insurance and Việt Nam Private Hospitals Association held yesterday. The dialogue was a chance for representatives of private hospitals and health clinics to highlight difficulties in implementing the amended Law on Health Insurance.
