Vietnam to launch tours through Son Doong Cave as controversial ladder installation backed

Quang Binh authorities have finally approved a plan to install a ladder inside the north-central province’s famous Son Doong Cave, allowing tourists to explore through out the world’s biggest natural cave instead of returning to exit after reaching its end.

Three new caves to open to tourists at Vietnam’s Phong Nha-Ke Bang

The caves are part of an exploration tour to become available in 2018

The tourism department of central Vietnam’s Quang Binh Province has just concluded a survey of a new tourist route across three natural caves in the province’s Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.

A proposal for a cable car in Vietnam’s Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park has received in-principle agreement from Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, who requested however that the plan be thoroughly studied.

QUẢNG BÌNH — A resident of central Quảng Bình Province has discovered thousands of human bone pieces that are believed to be of the victims of massacres by the French colonists.  The resident was digging the ground for building a home foundation.

Dương Văn Phong, a resident of Ba Đồn District’s Quảng Thọ Ward, said he started digging the soil on May 19 and kept finding human bones underground since then. Your next Kobe beef may come from Vietnam

The administration of Quang Binh Province in north-central Vietnam has inked deals with Japanese businesses from Hyogo Prefecture to fast-forward investment in a Japanese-style cow farm in the province.

Hyogo is known as the birthplace of world-famous Kobe beef, a reference to beef from the Tajima strain of Wagyu cattle raised in the Japanese prefecture, according to naming regulations set forth by the Kobe Beef Marketing and Distribution Promotion Association.
