NGHỆ AN — As the sunshine of a late summer afternoon waned, Lô Thị Hoa and her sister, looking fresh in traditional Thái costumes, prepared food to welcome guests to their stilt house in Nưa Village.

Inside the kitchen, three women in Hoa’s group were cooking food in several big pots on firewood while others were busy boiling water, cleaning vegetables and marinating meat. (TBKTSG) – Khi tôi bước vào nhà, Rmah Duă bật ti vi. Anh không mở ti vi bằng remote hay nút bấm dưới màn hình mà là chiếc công tắc điện được đấu ra bên ngoài. Chiếc ti vi cũ hiệu Trung Quốc nằm trong căn nhà kê hai cái giường nhỏ đã choán hết chỗ trên nền lồi lõm đất đỏ. Vài năm trước Duă đã mua lại cái ti vi này giá 1,2 triệu đồng khi mới cưới vợ. Sau một hồi trò chuyện tôi mới hiểu ra vì sao Duă mở ti vi khi khách đến. Chiếc ti vi là tài sản quý giá nhất của gia đình. Bật ti vi cũng là cách anh thanh niên người Gia Rai ở tỉnh Gia Lai này “đãi” khách.

Green tea island in Nghe An lures visitors

A green tea island in Thanh Chuong District, central Nghe An province has recently become a destination attracting a large number of visitors.

“Green tea islets” are located alternately in Cau Cau dam in Thanh Thinh and Thanh An communes in the district. Visitors can get a sightseeing boat tour to have the best view of the attraction and take pictures.

Every tea islet covering an area of more than one hectare gives people a pure fresh atmosphere. When the boat arrive in the island, tourists can contemplate green tea gardens and enjoy tea in leaf huts.

Additionally, travelers can visit other beautiful landscapes, such as Coi Falls, Lua Falls, Dong Danh dam in neighboring areas.

The director of a company in the north-central Vietnamese province of Nghe An has expressed his regret and apologized after footage of him slapping a female doctor went viral on social media.

The clip showing his violent actions at the Nghe An 115 General Hospital has sparked outrage after being uploaded to the Internet on Monday.
