TN – Với 832 loài cây thuốc đã phát hiện, trong đó 36 loài cây thuốc có tên trong “Sách đỏ Việt Nam”, Quảng Nam thực sự là xứ sở của cây thuốc quý nhưng cũng dễ đối diện nguy cơ tận diệt nếu không cấp thiết bảo tồn.

    Nhân dịp một nhóm trí thức gồm giáo sư Hoàng Xuân Phú, nhà báo Nguyễn Đăng Quang, cô giáo Hiền Giang và kỹ sư Lã Dũng về Tiên Lãng thăm đại gia đình họ Đoàn sau khi hai anh em ruột Đoàn Văn Vươn và Đoàn Văn Quý được đặc xá ra tù ( xem bài viết cảm động của Nguyễn Đăng Quang về cuộc thăm hỏi này trên teu.bloge), tôi xin được gửi tới ông Vươn & ông Quý mấy dòng cảm nghĩ viết từ mấy năm trước…

Đêm 30 Tết, sắp tới Giao thừa, tôi chợt bâng khuâng xa xót nghĩ đến thân phận của những người trong gia đình ông Đoàn Văn Vươn… Lúc này, gia đình ông tan tác- người trong trại tạm giam, người vất vưởng tìm chỗ che mưa nắng, bàn thờ gia tiên bị vùi trong đống gạch vụn, bữa cơm tất niên ấm cúng đã trở thành ký ức… Nhưng, luật pháp sẽ công minh phán xử đúng – sai, và lịch sử sẽ công bằng xác định lại mọi giá trị… Tôi tin rằng, những người đã có công lấn biển, chinh phục biển từng được dân chúng coi là “anh hùng” của vùng Duyên hải Tiên Lãng sẽ không bị hắt hủi và lãng quên, bởi họ – giống như ông cha ta từ hàng ngàn hàng vạn năm nay đã đổ mồ hôi xương máu để tồn tại và làm giàu có thêm cho lãnh thổ Quốc gia, dù có gặp đủ thứ thiên tai nhân họa rồi cuối cùng cũng sẽ tìm cách đứng lên để khẳng định một “Chỗ đứng dưới mặt trời” – như tên một cuốn tiểu thuyết nước ngoài được dịch sang ta nửa thế trước… Tiếp tục đọc “NGẪM VỀ CÔNG CUỘC LẤN BIỂN GIAN TRUÂN CỦA ÔNG CHA TA” →

Viet Nam should be proud of its record in promoting economic growth and poverty reduction, United Nations resident co-ordinator Pratibha Mehta told Viet Nam News Agency.

On September 2, 1945, in the Declaration of Independence to establish the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam, President Ho Chi Minh quoted the US Declaration of Independence saying: “All men are created equally. They are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness”. Throughout the past 70 years, Viet Nam has been striving for a better life for its people. What would be your comments on Viet Nam’s efforts in promoting human rights, especially with regard to economic growth and poverty reduction?
