Đại diện Cục Hải quan Đà Nẵng cho biết: Nếu cho lưu hành những cuốn sách này sẽ tạo ra nhận thức sai lệch về lịch sử cuộc chiến chống xâm lược của nhân dân Việt Nam, cũng như các vấn đề dân chủ, nhân quyền của Nhà nước Việt Nam hiện nay.

Cụ thể: Tại Bưu điện TP Đà Nẵng, Đội Kiểm tra bưu phẩm bưu kiện xuất nhập khẩu thuộc Chi cục Hải quan cửa khẩu Sân bay quốc tế Đà Nẵng (Cục Hải quan Đà Nẵng) phối hợp với Trung tâm khai thác và vận chuyển (Bưu điện TP Đà Nẵng) tạm giữ, bảo quản chờ xử lý; phối hợp với lực lượng công an thành phố đã phát hiện 4 bưu kiện:

Bưu phẩm được gửi từ Netherlands về Việt Nam ngày 15/1/2018. Nơi gửi: P.O.BOX 7085, 3109 AA Schiedam, Netherlands. Người nhận: Phan Ngọc Thanh Bình. Địa chỉ: 36 Hoàng Văn Thụ, Quận Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng, Việt Nam.

– Bưu kiện từ người gửi Phan Hồng Anh. Địa chỉ: 01-382 Warszawa UL. Szczotkarska 37A. Người nhận: Trần Ngọc Tuấn. Địa chỉ: 100 Hồ Tùng Mậu, Quận Liên Chiểu, Phường Hòa Minh, TP Đà Nẵng, Việt Nam. Hàng hóa vi phạm là 1 quyển sách có tựa đề “Chính trị bình dân” của tác giả Phạm Đoan Trang, được xuất bản tại Mỹ.

UN approves declaration banning all forms of human cloning – UN thông qua tuyên bố cấm mọi hình thức nhân bản vô tính người, năm 2005

8 March 2005 –The United Nations General Assembly today approved a non-binding declaration calling on all UN Member States to ban all forms of human cloning, including cloning for medical treatment, as incompatible with human dignity and the protection of human life.

By a vote of 84 in favour, 34 against and 37 abstaining, with 36 absent, the Assembly acted on the recommendation of its Legal, or Sixth, Committee to adopt the text, called the United Nations Declaration on Human Cloning. But some delegates said they opposed banning therapeutic cloning.

Chinese scientists break key barrier by cloning monkeys

LONDON (Reuters) – Chinese scientists have cloned monkeys using the same technique that produced Dolly the sheep two decades ago, breaking a technical barrier that could open the door to copying humans.

  Zhong Zhong and Hua Hua, two identical long-tailed macaques, were born eight and six weeks ago, making them the first primates — the order of mammals that includes monkeys, apes and humans — to be cloned from a non-embryonic cell.

The documentation project of children’s traditional games was undertaken in five cultural sites in four country partners: Luang Prabang (Lao PDR), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Penang (Malaysia), the Northern region and Bangkok (Thailand).

It was made into an interactive CD with cartoon animation, highly accessible by children and teachers. It is also accompanied by three short documentary films of children’s games in Thailand.

About the Project

The Asia-Pacific region has one of the richest repositories of intangible cultural heritage including traditional children’s games, the cultural elements that are said inseparable from community life. In the first weeks of 2018 there were (for me) unexpected announcements from both the EU and the UK Government on the urgent global issue of ocean plastic pollution. The EU intends to make all plastic packaging on the European market recyclable by 2030 and in her speech announcing the UK’s 25 Year Environment Plan, Prime Minister Theresa May committed the UK to eliminating all “avoidable plastic waste” by 2042. The Prime Minister also said it would direct UK aid to help developing nations reduce plastic waste, which could indicate a new direction for the UK’s and other countries’ aid programmes.

Trong lúc nhiều gia đình đang say giấc thì đâu đó tại những góc đường, trạm xe buýt, gầm cầu…, không ít người vô gia cư đang nằm co ro trong đêm lạnh giữa khuya Sài Gòn. Những ngày cuối năm, Sài Gòn lạnh và người ngoài đường thì co ro.

Khu vực trung tâm như quận 1, quận 3, quận 5… có số lượng người vô gia cư ngủ nhiều nhất. Ban ngày họ mưu sinh bằng đủ nghề như: Bán vé số, đạp xích lô, nhặt ve chai… tối đến thì bạ đâu là ngủ đó sau một ngày tất bật mưu sinh.

TTO – Hà Nội sau 0g đêm đã vắng, đêm đông còn vắng vẻ hơn. Ngoài đường lạnh lẽo, chỉ còn những công nhân và người vô gia cư ngủ co ro trên hè phố. Đêm qua, nhiệt độ Hà Nội đã xuống dưới 10 độ C.

 The growing threat of trash entering our ocean is a global problem, but this is truly an instance where thinking globally and acting locally applies. Scientists have estimated that about 8 million metric tons of plastic are entering the ocean every year and about 80% of this starts on land (Jenna R. Jambeck 2015). Left unabated, this translates to an ocean with 1 ton of plastic for every 3 tons of fish by 2025! These same scientists also found that the majority of this plastic currently comes from inadequate waste management―either trash that is never collected and spills directly into the environment, or trash that is collected but escapes because it’s not properly handled.  Moreover, countries experiencing rapid economic growth may not have a waste infrastructure to keep pace with increased household consumption. This mismatch results in large amounts of plastic waste entering our ocean.
