Trump is absolutely right. Where on earth would China have any wind farms~.🤣
Those satellite images from the BBC must be fake. That massive wind farm in Gansu Province visible from space must be a Hollywood set.🤡
Trump made it perfectly clear at Davos. He said wind power is a “money-losing business,” ineffective. The U.S. is shutting down wind projects and approving no new ones. Why would shrewd Chinese businessmen engage in such a loss-making venture? So, they sold all their turbines to “foolish people.”
China manufactures over 80% of the world’s photovoltaic modules and over 65% of its wind turbine blades, yet doesn’t use them at home. That defies logic, so it simply cannot be true.
Then what are all these?🤔
▲ 1. Gansu Jiuquan Wind Power Base, located in Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, ranks among the world’s largest single onshore wind projects.
▲ 2. Inner Mongolia Ulanqab Wind Power Base.
▲ 3. Jiangsu Rudong Offshore Wind Farm, off the coast of Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, is Asia’s largest offshore wind cluster.
▲ 4. Xinjiang Hami Shisanjianfang Wind Farm.
▲ 5. Hebei Zhangbei Wind Power Base, in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, was the primary green power supplier for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
▲ 6. Guangdong Yangjiang Offshore Wind Farm, China’s first gigawatt-scale offshore wind base.
▲ 7. Shanghai Donghai Bridge Wind Farm, flanking the Donghai Bridge in Shanghai, was Asia’s first large-scale offshore wind farm.
▲ 8. Xinjiang Dabancheng Wind Farm, in Urumqi, Xinjiang, is the birthplace of China’s wind power industry.
▲ 9. Nan’ao East Peninsula Wind Farm, in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, is one of Asia’s largest island-based wind farms.
▲ 10. Ningxia Helan Mountain Wind Farm, near Yinchuan City, Ningxia.
Yes, all the above place names and wind farm titles are purely fictional, and the pictures are my own drawings. China definitely does not have these wind farms. 😄
Why would Trump say such things at Davos, in front of the whole world?
This is certainly not to cover up anything. It absolutely isn’t because the U.S. feels pressure in traditional oil & gas and nuclear power, nor is it because China’s all-industry-chain advantage in new energy is causing strategic anxiety for some.
This is purely an objective observation based on facts. Just like his remarks at the same forum—vowing to “protect” Greenland while simultaneously claiming China has no wind farms—the logic is perfectly self-consistent. The core logic is: anything that challenges U.S. primacy, whether territory, technology, or industry, can simply be declared non-existent or invalid by virtue of its existence.
This is a new form of diplomatic and media rhetoric. It requires no evidence. It seizes the power to define “facts.” If Trump says it doesn’t exist, then it doesn’t. As for those wind turbines, they may exist on Chinese soil and in the power grids of over a hundred countries worldwide, but they cannot exist within the narrative Trump acknowledges.
Thus, China’s response appears so “feeble.” All they can do is trot out boring figures like installed capacity exceeding 600 GW and their exports helping reduce global carbon emissions by 4.1 billion tonnes. What’s the use of writing all those analyses and releasing all those pictures? Trump wouldn’t understand them anyway.🤷
Who’s really being the fool here, then?🤔
