Israeli space launch vehicle Shavit sends a military intelligence satellite into space in March 2023. The same Shavit rocket can launch ballistic missiles, including the nuclear-capable, three-stage Jericho III intermediate-range ballistic missile. The Jericho III reportedly has a range exceeding 4,000 kilometers, enough to reach all of Iran, Pakistan, Europe, and western Russia. The Day After Trinity – Documentary

Robert Oppenheimer (1904–1967), the theoretical physicist who led the effort to build the first atomic bomb, tested in July 1945 at Trinity site in New Mexico.It features interviews with several Manhattan Project scientists, as well as newly declassified archival footage.

North Korea plans nuclear push in 2017: Top defector

SEOUL: North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un is planning a “prime time” nuclear weapons push in 2017 to take advantage of leadership transitions in South Korea and the United States, a high-ranking defector said Tuesday (Dec 27).

In his first press conference since fleeing his post as North Korea’s deputy ambassador to Britain in August, Thae Yong-Ho said Kim had issued a directive at a rare ruling party congress in May to “complete” nuclear development by the end of next year.
