The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has set a regulation which would prohibit teachers and students from disseminating, propagating, making comments and showing the images that may adversely affect the education environment.

Headmaster of Einstein High School in Hanoi Dao Tuan Dat expressed doubts about the legality of the regulation.

The World Bank has appointed a Hong Kong university as a consultant for Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training on a project aimed at promoting the continuous professional development of the Vietnamese teachers.

The appointment of the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) was announced after a rigorous short-listing and selection process for the Vietnamese education ministry’s Enhancing Teacher Education Program (ETEP), during which the Hong Kong institution stood out among top universities and education consultancies from North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
