Not many can remember when the Internet was in its infancy in Vietnam just over two decades ago.

NetNam Co., based in Hanoi, is considered the pioneering Internet provider in Vietnam.

HÀ NỘI – Việt Nam will soon have its own “Wikipedia” page, maybe even more interactive, developed by Vietnamese people for Vietnamese people.

The page is a proactive, interactive effort to spread knowledge and awareness of scientific and technological developments, promoting education resources and sci-tech creativity in the country.

Huy won the third prize of Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) 2017 in California for his invention of a robotic prosthetic arm designed for the disabled. Europol: Ransomware attack is of unprecedented level

International investigation needed to identify culprits of biggest-of-its-kind cyber-extortion attack, Europol says.

The wave of cyberattacks wreaking havoc across the globe is “at an unprecedented level”, European Union’s law enforcement agency Europol said.

The attacks will “require a complex international investigation to identify the culprits”, the agency, which is working with countries and companies hit by the attacks, said in a statement on Saturday.

Dozens of countries were hit by the ransomware attack on Friday that locked up computers and held users’ files for ransom at a multitude of hospitals, companies and government agencies.
