Discovering 100-year old Phu Lien meteorological station in Vietnam
Phu Lien meteorological station was originally built on Dau Son mountain in 1902. It has been used as an active observation station for over 100 years by the World Meteorological Organisation.
 Phu Lien meteorological station was first built in 1902 on Dau Son mountain, located in KIen An district of Hai Phong city.  The site is located at an altitude of 116 metres above sea level. It was built with a French architectural design
The meteorological station is regularly considered to be among the top 100 famous buildings that are over 100-years old in Vietnam. Aside from its renowned architecture, the building has proved crucial for scientific research and meteorological forecasting in the Indochina region.
