Viet Nam News KHÁNH HÒA The 2017 Nha Trang Sea Festival, themed “Extending the Circle of Friendship”, opened Saturday night in the central province of Khánh Hòa, with a wide array of artistic, cultural and sporting activities.

Viet Nam News KHÁNH HÒA – Investors have shown interest in the solar energy sector in the central coastal province of Khánh Hòa, with some 10 solar projects applying for investment licences in the province.

Three projects in the field have been approved, according to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

Scientists propose ‘breeding’ artificial beach in Nha Trang

Scientists at the Vietnam National Institute of Oceanography (VNIO) have concluded a two-year study on ‘breeding’ artificial beaches in coastal Nha Trang City for tourist activities.

The study, submitted this month to the Department of Science and Technology of Khanh Hoa Province in south-central Vietnam, looked at possible locations in Nha Trang where new, artificial beaches can be created, as well as preservation solutions for the city’s existing natural beaches.
