As summer approaches, islanders from Tam Hai Commune, just five minutes by boat from Nui Thanh District’s Tam Quang Commune, will begin collecting seaweed (sargassum henslowianum) from the waters surrounding the island.

Discovering Bau Truc pottery village
Pottery art in Bau Truc Village in Phuoc Dan Commune, Ninh Phuoc District, Ninh Thuan Province has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The pottery village has some 400 households making pottery goods, representing 70% of the total Cham population in the area.
Despite many ups and downs, the Cham people have handed down their pottery making techniques from generation to generation.
The village captures the attention of many tourists, and has more than 600 workers with incomes of VND3 million to VND4 million.
