Covering a 5,000 hectares, Thi Nai Lagoon is known as the “green lung” of Quy Nhon City and is considered a hidden gem in Binh Dinh Province.

The lagoon’s year-round greenery gives it the feeling of an aquatic wonderland.

Located 8 kilometers northeast of Quy Nhon City, Thi Nai Lagoon is the largest lagoon in Binh Dinh and features a rich and diverse ecosystem.

It is home to vast green mangrove forests and long canals that snake throughout the area.

Thap Thay Boi (Fortune Teller’s Tower) – a relatively small mountain – flanks the west bank of the lagoon, and houses a temple built by fishermen to worship the water god.

Located to the east of Thi Nai Lagoon is the Phuong Mai peninsula, home to rocky mountains and giant sand dunes.

Visitors to Thi Nai Lagoon can try SUP paddling, fishing, sightseeing, and enjoying local specialties.

Thi Nai Lagoon has also been chosen to host the F1H2O UIM World Championship powerboat racing tournament in 2024.
